Six temporary site-specific installations, each using sewing needles inserted into a wall.

Initially, I was interested in the idea of inserting a thin delicate object (the needle) into a 
seemingly substantial divider of space. Walls artificially define the limitations of space but are not impenetrable. They separate one side from another.

However, gradually the surfaces began to claim their own identity, taking over whole spaces and mimicking active accumulations like the murmurations of swallows.
