Canto uses the same rayon paper as in aria. Canto was sited in the three-story stairwell of the Museum of the Americas, Organization of American States in Washington, DC. Visitors accessed the piece through the first floor main entrance and ascended along the stairs to view the piece which floated in the center of the building for three floors. Each time a visitor opened the front door the air current caused the paper to float upwards. Japanese uzukuchi rayon paper, steel cable, stairwell 55ft. x 12ft. x 10ft.
